I truly believe that integrity and honesty is the core foundation of building any relationships. Being able to communicate openly, comfortably and honestly would streamline the listing, buying and leasing process knowing what our clients think or how they feel. It would also eliminate a lot of unnecessary assumptions or situations.

HOUSING MARKET & TIPS

Tips for Saving on Taxes

when Selling a home

There’s nothing like signing off on the sale of a home when you’re ready to move on to another property. Your excitement may start to fade a little, however, when tax season rolls around and you have to report any gains you realized from the sale on your income tax return. If you’re preparing to sell your home, here’s what you can do to minimize your tax bite.

Will Home Prices Crash

This Year?

Many people have been asking: will home prices fall this year? Whether you’re a potential homebuyers, sellers or both, this definitely has an effect on both sides. Let’s break down what’s happening with home prices, where experts say they’re headed, and how this impacts your homeownership goals.

Recent data shows today's unsold inventory on the market is at 3.0-months’ supply, which means that the inventory is still relatively low for home prices to come crashing down like back then. Many homeowners have built up good amount of equity to sustain their mortage loans or sell their homes.

Why Foreclosures isn't in the forecast?

While you may have seen recent stories about the volume of foreclosures today, context is important. During the pandemic, many homeowners were able to pause their mortgage payments using the forbearance program. The goal was to help homeowners financially during the uncertainty created by the health crisis.

When the forbearance program began, many experts were concerned it would result in a wave of foreclosures coming to the market, as there was after the housing crash in 2008. Here’s a look at why the number of foreclosures we’re seeing today is nothing like the last time.
